Because every piece presents different problems to be solved, giving a general idea of prices is difficult. The best solution is to send me a copy of the piece (or a few typical pages) and your requirements, and I'll give you a quote for the work. If your requirements don't change, I guarantee the price for that job. I'll always give you a chance to adjust things once you've seen a proof set of the work, and correct any errors, all at no extra charge.

If your needs change, or there are significant revisions to the score that need to be implemented, then we can agree a fee for that extra work.

If you have a budget, I can work to it: I'll give you an idea of what can be done in the available time, and will effectively prioritize my work so you get the best possible outcome.

I am also happy to work on a straightforward hourly contract, for which I charge between £28 and £45 per hour, depending on whether I'm working as an editor, engraver, proofreader, arranger, or some combination of these.
